Helston Athletic will play away to Bishop's Cleeve in the Second Qualifying Round of the FA Cup.

The match is scheduled for Saturday, September 17 with kick off at 3pm. if the game finishes level after 90 minutes the tie will go to a replay.

Their opponents play in the Southern League and beat Westbury United 3-1 in the last round.

Winners will receive £3,375 from the match while the losing side will get £1,125.

It is the furthest Helston have ever gone in the competition.

The Blues are now the only Cornish side left in the prestigious cup competition after they defeated Torpoint Athletic in a narrow 2-1 victory at the Mill on Saturday.

All the scoring took place in the first half in what was a fiercely contested battle which saw Helston take a two goal lead through Tom Payne and Rikki Shepherd.

Torpoint halved the deficit on the stroke of half time with Curtis Damerell knocking a header in with the final play of the half.

Helston will play Falmouth Town for the third time this season their next game which is in the Toolstation Western League on Wednesday, September 7 with kick off at 7:45pm at Bickland Park.
