The event which estimates around 35,000 visitors over three days, has always provided entertainment for people of all ages, along with cuisine from all over the world and locally.

Top chefs and bands from across the South West and beyond have previously attended the harbour to show off their skills.

This year’s festival saw ‘Chefs Theatre’ hosted by Porthleven’s own Jude Kerama and featured the likes of Antony Worrall Thompson, Michael Caines, Stewart Eddy, and Bryok Williams, to name a few, all cooking live on the on-stage kitchen.

Although plenty of food is on offer, It also seeks to raise awareness of critical issues relating to the environment, food culture, and sustainable food production.

The event organisers say there are "exciting new additions"

Porthleven Food Festival’s chef patron, Jude Kereama, says: “The 2023 festival is shaping up to bring the most exciting line-up of chefs we’ve ever had at the festival.

Expect lots of brilliant chef demonstrations, interactive workshops, inspiring conversations, and awesome new additions. Next year is set to be the best yet!”
