Penryn College celebrates its rugby and netball teams as they accomplish county championship achievements in their respective tournaments.
Competing on home soil, Penryn College's netball team triumphed in their U16 County tournament earlier this month.
They have now topped their opening group and qualified for the finals, where they defeated St Ives and Truro School to win the competition.

Speaking following the tournament, Penryn College PE Teacher, Hope Lushington, said: “A massive well done to the squad and a big thank you to all competing schools for taking part in the competition, as well as the umpires, event organisers, and PE departments.”
The tournament victory means that Penryn will travel to Bournemouth in January to participate in the U16 Regional Tournament.
And it's not just Penryn's netball team who have triumphed this month.
This week, the Packet reported that Penryn College's Year 8 Rugby players had been crowned U13 County Cup champions following their first-place finish in a tournament of 25 Cornish schools.
Reflecting on the players’ achievements, Penryn College Director of Lifestyle and Community, Mr Tucker, said: "The success was built on the players keeping calm under pressure and a big squad effort.
"A big well done to everyone!"
