A legal expert at Coodes Solicitors has been shortlisted in her category at the Personal Injury Awards – and she’s the only one from the South West.

Partner Rachel Pearce has been selected for Clinical Negligence Lawyer of the Year.

She is up against six other professionals at the prestigious event which will take place in Manchester next month. 

Head of Personal Injury and Clinical Negligence at Coodes, Rachel has over 16 year’s experience in dealing with particularly complex and challenging cases, including birth injuries, surgical errors, misdiagnosis, substandard midwifery, nursing care, and fatal claims.

Rachel joined Coodes in 2016 as an Associate and became head of the department in 2018.

Earlier this year she was invited to become a business owner of the South West firm in recognition of her commitment to driving the future direction of the team and business.

Based at the firm’s office in Falmouth, Rachel leads a very experienced and highly regarded team of clinical negligence specialists who represent clients across Cornwall and Devon.

Rachel has a track record of securing client results and is accredited under the Law Society Clinical Negligence Accreditation Scheme.

She is a Senior Ligiator and Accredited Clinical Negligence specialist with the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers and a member of the charity INQUEST, providing legal representation to bereaved families.

She is also consistently independently ranked by the Legal 500 Chambers and Partners publications.
