Famous faces from the likes of Sadiq Kahn and Darcey Bussell to Mary Portas and Mariella Frostrop are gathering at the Eden Project this week to look at long-term vision for Britain.

The new three-day event, Anthropy, will see leading figures from the world of business, sport, politics, charities and education looking for ways to create a more positive, equitable, sustainable, and successful future.

They will consider questions such as:

- What is the quality of life we want in Britain for the next 30 years?

- What qualities of place and planet do we need to achieve that quality of life?

- What qualities do we wish to see in a good economy and in the best of business and public sector organisations?

- What qualities do we want to express to the world to help solve shared issues such as poverty, climate change and human rights?

Award winning author and Anthropy founder John O’Brien MBE said: “It’s clear that traditional channels or means of solving the challenges facing the UK have failed.

“We need a new approach to engage the next generation and reach out to unconnected communities. Anthropy will be the platform to achieve this.”
