Top of the Southern Premier Division South table, Truro City made it eight wins on the trot with their latest victory away to Met Police on Saturday, writes Phil Westren.
Shane White and Andrew ‘Rocky’ Neal were goal scorers for the White Tigers who remain a point clear of second-placed Weston-super-Mare.
Speaking after the game, manager Paul Wotton said: "To win eight games on the trot in any league is a fantastic achievement - that's 15 games now, 12 wins, and three draws.
"You have to enjoy it, it's still very early in the season, but we're ticking them off one by one and if you don't enjoy winning there's no point in playing football."
Final score: Metropolitan Police 1 - Truro City 2
