A brand new, all-girl pop and dance group will have its national launch at the Royal Cornwall Show this week.
Vanity is an all-Cornwall venture which will be performing every day in the BBC Radio Cornwall Theatre and working elsewhere on the showground to promote their first single.
In a vibrant ten-minute stage set the girls - ranging in age from 17 to 24 - will dance and sing a mix of cover songs and originals.
Vanity is an initiative designed to give local performers a chance to get themselves into the limelight.
With the help of a professional team of writers, producers, choreographers and stylists the girls have been working under intense pressure to produce a showcase of talent which can stand its own in the music industry alongside urban inner-city products developed closer to where the action is.
The unique point of the group is that the 15 members of Vanity form three groups of five, all of whom can perform the same routine so the group can be seen in three locations at the same time!
