A CARE home in Falmouth got into the Christmas spirit recently with its very own Christmas lights switch on.
Lighting up time got a whole new meaning at Falmouth Court Care Home as the community came together to see the home’s Christmas lights switched on for the very first time this Christmas.
Staff and residents at Barchester’s Falmouth Court care home, in Falmouth, got in the Christmas spirit by inviting the community to come and join in with staff and residents who all gathered in the home’s lounge for the occasion.
Even the Lord Mayor of Falmouth. Steve Eva, was in attendance for the afternoon's festivities.
According to staff at Falmouth Court, everyone in attendance enjoyed a wonderful performance from the Carrick U3A Choir and thought the Christmas tree looked amazing when the Lord Mayor, flicked the switch for the big reveal.
There was mulled wine and mince pies all prepared by head chef, Jonathan Moyle for everyone to enjoy after the performance.
General Manager, Alexandria Bowman said: "We absolutely love Christmas here at Falmouth Court, it is such a special time and we all love decorating the home and having a lovely big tree which, this year, was kindly sponsored by William Highbourne Wealth Management."
