MORE than 200 brave souls entered the sea at Coverack on Christmas Day to raise money for charity.
This year, a record number of 261 participants took part in the annual Coverack Christmas Day Swim to raise money for St Keverne and Coverack Cancer Research UK local committee.
The Christmas day swim was the optional fancy dress for participants, with some dressing up as elves, pirates, 1920s showgirls, and inflatable dinosaurs.
Posting on Facebook, the cancer charity said: "A grateful "thank you" from the St Keverne and Coverack local Cancer Research Committee to all yesterday's swimmers and supporters.
"A fantastic turnout! We will let you know how much we raised as soon as we have added in the sponsorship amounts.
"Thanks also to the team who put the tent up for an extra changing room and to the First Responders. We are so grateful."
