BID Camborne is giving people the chance to win local shopping vouchers and have their favourite photos of Camborne included in future publications.
Entitled ‘Camborne at its Best’, the campaign has just been launched and runs until April. Photos need to have been taken during the last 12 months and should be high resolution.
“Most of us can take pictures with our smart phones and they’re a great way of spontaneously capturing an image that, for whatever reason, creates an impression,” said BID Camborne manager Anna Pascoe.

“It could be a community act of kindness like someone helping another person across the road, an event, a standout piece of architecture, a street performance or an eye-catching window display – whatever the subject, as long as it says something positive about Camborne, we want to see it.
“Our town is known for its communal spirit, heritage, good public transport and heart of Cornwall location so let’s translate that into a collection of pictures that promote our town and showcase its many different features.”
Photos should be emailed to smile@cambornetown.com and more information is available via @cambornetown on Facebook, Twitter and Instagram.
