The families and friends of people who have passed away have paid heartfelt tributes to their loved ones in this week’s death announcements.

A total of three messages have been posted this week for people in the area who have died recently.

Often a family will post the obituary to share details about the life and death of their loved one.

HOLMES Millie On 13th February aged 84years of Falmouth, passed away peacefully at home, surrounded by her family after a long illness. Beloved and devoted wife of Fred (deceased).

Treasured mum of Catherine, Sarah and Fiona, Mother in law to Simon and Pete. Very special Nanny of Finn, Ellie, Hollie, Harley and his partner Jess.

She will be greatly missed by all her family and many friends.

A Funeral service will be held on Monday 6th March at 11am at Budock Church.

Dress code is smart but Mum loved pretty colours and flowers so we encourage her mourners to wear something to reflect this.

Immediate family flowers only, but donations if desired, for The children's Hospice South West.

Frederick Ingram

INGRAM Frederick on 19th February 2023, peacefully at Amberley House Care Home, Truro, Frederick, aged 98 years of Mylor Bridge. Beloved husband of the late Sylvia, much loved pops of Clive and his wife Janet, and a dear grandpa and great grandpa.

Funeral service at St. Mylor Parish Church on Tuesday 7th March at 11am followed by interment in Mylor Parish Cemetery.

David Charles Sanderson

SANDERSON David Charles 13th June 1939 to the 18th February 2023.

Passed away peacefully on Saturday 18th February 2023, aged 83.

Beloved husband of Diana, father of James and Andrew and Grandfather to Charlie, Cameron, Caiden, Rowan, Chandler, Corey and Cobie.

The funeral service will be held at Mawnan Smith Old Church on the 16th March at 11-00am with a family only cremation to take place at Penmount Crematorium at 12-30pm.
