A tractor caused a barn to catch fire on a farm in east Cornwall last night (Wednesday).

The fire service mobilised three fire engines to the barn fire in Luckett near Callington at 6.47pm.

When the two crews from Callington and one from Liskeard arrived on the scene, they found a loader well alight inside a barn.

It appears that the loader had caused the fire, and the fire had quickly spread through the 10x10 metre barn.

Fortunately there were no animals or people involved in the fire.
