POLICE in Devon and Cornwall have reported that they are currently experiencing technical issues with their 999 and 101 systems.
Devon and Cornwall Police have revealed they are currently experiencing issues with the 999 and 101 incident reporting systems and have asked the public to bear with them.
D&C Police have advised that the public can still dial 999, however, they may be put through to another force who can pass on anymore information to Devon and Cornwall Police.
The force have also said they have deployed officers out on patrol to "maximise visibility and reassurance" while the issues are taking place.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Devon & Cornwall Police are currently experiencing intermittent technical issues with the 999 and 101 incident reporting systems.
"During this time, members of the public are asked to consider whether the matter is an emergency when trying to make contact.
"In an emergency you can still call 999 and you may be put through to another force. The details will then be passed on to Devon & Cornwall Police and we will be able to deploy resources.
"We ask that you please bear with us and contact us online here for any non-emergency matters.
"Officers have been deployed out on patrol to maximise visibility and reassurance at this time."
