Southern Californian and Grammy-nominated rock band Incubus are the seventh act to be announced to play the iconic Eden Sessions on Saturday June 24, 2023.

They will be joined by special guests, to be announced soon.

The five-piece have achieved stellar success over the years, with more than 23 million albums sold worldwide, earning them Gold, Platinum and multi-Platinum status, while landing four Top 5 debuts in the Billboard Top 200 charts, a No. 1 Billboard album and four No. 1 singles on the Billboard Alternative Song chart.

They have taken their headline shows around the world and performed at numerous global festivals, from Lollapalooza to Download.

This show will be the first time the band have performed at a venue in Cornwall and promises to be packed with their greatest hits.

Forming while still in high school in 1991, the band members currently consist of keen surfer and vocalist, Brandon Boyd, Mike Einziger (guitar), José Pasillas II (drums), Chris Kilmore (keyboard/DJ) and Ben Kenney (bass).

They are renowned for their genre-defying sounds, morphing and adapting through an eclectic range of styles and instruments, dabbling in alternative rock, nu metal, pop, jazz and funk.

Their third studio album, Make Yourself (1999), launched them to mainstream success with iconic hits, such as Pardon Me, Stellar and Drive – their highest charting song.

Drive remained at No. 3 in the Billboard Modern Rock Tracks chart for six weeks before climbing to the top of the Billboard Alternative charts. It went on to make the Top Ten in the Billboard Hot 100 singles chart, earning the accolade Single of the Year in 2001.

After the roaring success of their third studio album, the band launched the Make Yourself Foundation, a non-profit that raises vital funds and awareness for various causes, including sustainability campaigns, natural disaster responses and support for the arts. Every ticket sold will contribute £1 to the foundation.

Rita Broe, Managing Director of Eden Sessions Ltd, said: “We are thrilled to be welcoming such an epic band to the Eden Sessions stage as part of their UK tour.

“As well as being showstopping performers, Incubus’ foundation mission perfectly aligns with Eden’s. We’re proud to be supporting this through the show and we can’t wait to see the energy they bring. We hope that Cornwall will feel like a home-from-home for them.”

Morning View followed Make Yourself in 2001 with similar commercial and critical acclaim, debuting at No. 2 on the Billboard Top 200 and soaring to certified Platinum status less than two months after release.

They credit a host of major influences from bands that have equally stood the test of time, such as Faith No More, Red Hot Chili Peppers and Alice in Chains.

Tickets for Incubus and special guests at the Eden Project on Saturday June 24, 2023, cost £51 plus a £6.50 booking fee. £1.00 from every ticket purchased (less VAT) goes to the Make Yourself Foundation, which Incubus have partnered with for this tour.
