A Cornish hotel and spa has launched a new suite that comes complete with the use of an electric car.
It follows extensive refurbishments to the 40 bedrooms and restaurant at The Polurrian on the Lizard, near Mullion.
The hotel has unveiled its new Island Suite, which comes complete with complimentary use of an electric Mini Moke, a small, front-wheel-drive utility and recreational convertible.
The Island Suite has been created as part of the latest round of refurbishment work. The suite boasts three bedrooms, a fitted kitchenette, and a private terrace and hot tub that overlooks Mount’s Bay and Mullion Island.

Guests also have exclusive and complimentary use of the Mini Moke for at least one day during their stay, to navigate the Cornish lanes and visit the beach. The Mini Moke has four seats and a 60-mile range.
The hotel has direct access to the beach at Polurrian Cove, an outdoor swimming pool, a tennis court, and an Elemis Spa, plus the Health Club featuring a gym, indoor pool and hot tub for guests.

A two-night stay in the Island Suite, which sleeps up to two adults and four children costs from £763, and includes a full Cornish breakfast each morning, a 25-minute spa treatment for two adults, £27.50 per adult dinner credit on one evening (children’s meals charged as taken), and a complimentary one day use of the Mini Moke with a picnic hamper and hot drinks.
