In the Core building, authors Craig Barr-Green and Anna Wilson will host interactive youth writing workshops and will share helpful techniques to improve writing skills. Aspiring authors are encouraged to bring along some of their own work if they wish to share and receive advice specific to them.

Also taking place in the Core Building is a selection of theatre performances including Attenborough and his Animals, an award-winning, five-star physical comedy show featuring two hapless fools who recreate wonderful scenes of the natural world.

Meanwhile, 'WOMANS' is a raucous and hilarious tale of the first female resistance set in 44BC, Ancient Rome.

For a younger audience, Eden will play host to some puppet shows. On Monday, May 27 until 28 and June 3 to 4, families can see Tallulah Swirls puppetry bring a magical and immersive puppet show followed by a behind-the-scenes look at how puppet works.

From May 29 until June 2, visitors can enjoy The Silly Squirrel puppet show, all performed from a picnic basket and is followed by a meet-and-play session as an introduction to the techniques of puppetry.

Kate Francis, Eden’s Live Producer, said: “With our curious outdoor gardens and wonderous Biomes, Eden has always been a place of awe and wonder that inspires the imagination and helps the impossible seem possible.

“With that in mind, we’re incredibly excited to bring together a host of talented and creative people to help capture our visitors’ imaginations and hopefully allow them to see Eden and the world around them in new and exciting ways.”

There is an additional charge of 50p per person to attend a theatre performance, puppet show or writing workshop and availability is limited, so all those wishing to attend must book their space in advance.
