Central Methodist Church in Helston will welcome an accomplished concert pianist and organist this June.
Jonathon Delbridge will be performing popular pieces by Bach, Chopin and Handel alongside some less well-known composers when he comes to the church on Saturday, June 3 at 7:30pm.
Originally from Liskeard, Jonathon is well known for his exciting and varied concert programmes both on piano and organ and regularly performed at a variety of venues ranging from the Royal Albert Hall, Birmingham Symphony Hall, Norwich Cathedral and Plymouth University to his own village church in Somerset.

Jonathon has a special interest in English piano music and was recently awarded a Fellowship from the National College of Music for his thesis entitled ‘A Study of the Piano Music of George Frederick Pinto.
In his examiner’s report, Dr Andrew Wilson said of Jonathon: “He has surely become one of the greatest experts on this composer alive today.”
Jonathon’s music studies began at the age of just four when he started piano lessons with his mother. He continued to study under her until he passed his grade eight exam at the age of 15.
In December 2004, Jonathon gained the FRSM diploma in piano performing which is the highest diploma awarded by the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music.
