Emergency services were called to the Tesco in Falmouth this morning with the store reported temporarily closed.
Eyewitnesses reported that traffic was held up outside Tesco on Killigrew Street although the road is now reported to be open.
Pictures from the scene show the fire service and paramedics outside the store, with unconfirmed reports that the air ambulance landed at the recreation ground, according to witnesses.
Two ambulances were reported to be at the scene with people in the store at the time saying it was temporarily closed.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said officers assisted ambulance colleagues outside Tesco in Falmouth following a report of concern for the welfare of a woman.
Tesco have been contacted for a statement.
