As Cornwall prepares to welcome thousands of visitors over the summer months and schools get ready to break up for the holidays, annual restrictions have come into force on many of the Duchy's beaches.
These limit the amount of time that dogs can be on most of Cornwall's beaches.
The majority of these came into force on Saturday (July 1) and will now run until the end of August, with the restrictions in force banning dogs from going on the listed beaches from 10am to 6pm every day.
The restrictions are the result of Public Space Protection Orders (PSPOs) put in place by Cornwall Council.
The penalty for breaching a PSPO can be a maximum of £1,000 although, in most cases, the council will use its discretion to issue a fixed penalty notice of £100 to anyone who commits an offence.
