THIS week's Step Back in Time feature is heading back to the summer of 1976.
The summer of 1976 was nototrious for being the one with drought, water standpipes, and sunshine. With Carnival this weekend, it also seemed appropriate to look back at the event in that year.
This week's feature showcases the Dock’s Retired Dinner, which was well supported. It also shows that, with bands and floats, knights of old, fun and fantasy, the 1976 Carnival was quite a spectacle.
