THE Penryn Town Fair will be held on Saturday, August 26, 2023, and will feature a range of family-friendly fun and entertainment.

A Town Fair parade has been organised and will leave Memorial Gardens at 12:50pm heading towards Fish Cross

The 42nd fair will be opened at 1pm by Roger Reynolds at Fish Cross and, following the opening, Falmouth Soul Sensation and Tory Wills 'Rock n Roll' will be performing. There will also be children's rides including chair-o-plans and the Old Time Striker.

New for 2023 is Richie the Raptor, a mischievous velociraptor who will be making appearances in 20 minutes slots between 1:10pm and 4pm.

At the memorial gardens, visitors will find Punch and Judy up to their usual antics as well as two hours of Cornish wrestling.

Inside the Town Hall, Penryn Camera Club will be hosting an exhibition of photos from around Penryn and volunteers at the Penryn Museum will be around to tell a few tall tales.

Broad Street will be where visitors can find a bumper classic car display, including military vehicles, Royal British Legion Bikes, and electric vehicles, including the popular MG Club.

Lower and Higher Market Street will host various stalls and children's rides including a bucking bronco and a bouncy castle.
