Falmouth School says it is excited to celebrate the achievements of Year 11 students this year. Students accomplished a great range of qualifications across many GCSEs and BTEC qualifications.
The school says the "brilliant outcomes" are a testament to the dedication of students, the commitment of the teaching staff, and the support of parents and guardians.
Headteacher Mrs Lenka Chanter who celebrated with staff and students said: ‘I am really proud of all our Year 11 students.
They have had to overcome many challenges and have surpassed themselves in their commitment to learning, ambition and dedication.
It is no surprise that many of them have decided to continue their academic studies and we are excited to welcome back those who have chosen to do so at our Sixth Form.’
Learning Leader for the 2023 year group Mrs Lauren Miller commented: "I am extremely proud of all of our students.
"They have shown great determination and perseverance in their learning and deserve to be proud of their achievements.
"It has been a pleasure to work with such talented students; the future is full of exciting opportunities, and I look forward to hearing of our students’ inevitable future successes.’
Across the cohort, many students successfully secured grade five in both English and Maths and many made exceptional progress during their time at Falmouth School.
Extraordinary success was achieved by Lauren and Harry, both of whom secured an impressive nine GCSEs at Grade 9.
