STUDENTS at Camborne Science and International Academy (CSIA) are revelling in the glow of exceptional GCSE results.
Principal Emma Haase expressed her elation, stating: "It’s brilliant to see such amazing results after two years of hard work. I’d like to say a huge congratulations to all the students and a huge thank you to all the staff for their efforts.”
"This cohort of students should be really proud of their achievements, the amazing results show just how much work they have put into their studies. We wish all our students well as they embark on the next stage of their education and look forward to welcoming many back in September."

Among the standout achievers is Josh T, who attained a remarkable 10 grade 9s across subjects including English Language, English Literature, Mathematics, Further Mathematics, History, Economics, Product Design, Double Science, and Spanish. Josh is poised to continue his academic journey by pursuing A-Levels at Cornwall School of Liberal Arts.
He said, "I feel brilliant about my results and I can now do what I chose to study at The VI Form Academy. The work was challenging, but I worked hard, and I was prepared for my exams.”

Similarly, Noah J secured a splendid total of 8 grade 9s and 1 grade 8, positioning him for further studies at Cornwall School of Maths and Science (CSMS). He said, “I’m really pleased; working with like-minded students at Nexus has helped me to achieve some great results.”
Arina W is yet another star this year, having secured an astounding 9 grade 9s and 1 grade 8, spanning subjects including English Language, English Literature, History, Economics, Product Design, Double Science, Russian, Spanish, and Mathematics.
Isla R's exceptional performance encompassed an impressive 7 grade 9s and 3 grade 8s. She too is set to continue her education at Cornwall School of Maths and Science. She said, “I feel really good about my results and I am now looking forward to studying at CSMS. My teachers were really supportive in helping me, but I also worked hard at home; I was ready for my exams.”

Thomas K also stands out, having achieved an impressive 3 grade 9s, 2 grade 8s and 4 grade 7s. His next steps are to attend The VI Form Academy. He said, “I tried my best in every lesson and attended the after-school support and now I have achieved some really good results. The support from staff was amazing. I am looking forward to studying A-Levels in VI Form.”
Luke R's remarkable achievement included an outstanding 2 grade 9s, 3 grade 8s and 1 Distinction* spanning English Literature, Geography, English Language, History and Sociology. He said, “I feel happy. I worked hard, attended intervention and now have achieved some really good results.”

Rachel Trevarthan, Vice Principal at CSIA, voiced her pride, remarking, "We're delighted with another year of outstanding GCSE results. It's a joy to see so many happy faces and a testament to CSIA's high level of attainment which is a reflection of both the students and the staff’s hard work."
Trevarthan added, "The success of every pupil at our Academy matters and we are always excited to celebrate another year of fantastic results. The students coming back to study with us next year can approach the start of their A-Levels with confidence."
