A NUMBER of lost dogs have been collected by Cornwall Council and are awaiting their owners to retrieve them. 

Several lost dogs including a golden retriever, a lurcher, and a terrier-type are waiting for their owners to come and collect them after being housed in Cornwall Council's kennels. 

Currently, five different dogs that have been found in several areas across Cornwall are listed as being in Cornwall Council's kennels.

They include:

A white terrier-type bitch that was found on Falmouth Road in Penryn on Monday, August 21.

A cream golden retriever bitch that was found in Sticker, near St Austell, on Wednesday, August 23.

A black and white crossbreed that was found on Higher Road in St Neot on Tuesday, August 15
