The cruise line’s first ship, Ambience, entered the fleet in May 2022, operating from her home port of London Tilbury. From the 2023/24 season, guests will sail onboard Ambience as well as Ambassador’s second ship, Ambition, which joined the fleet in May 2023.

Nicola Harper, head of distribution at Ambassador Cruise Line, said: “The regional departures Ambition offers have been hugely popular with our agent partners and their customers since they first went on sale, and we know that the arrival of our second lady of the sea into Bristol & Falmouth is hugely anticipated.

"We want to join in with the excitement as the countdown to her maiden voyage from these ports draws nearer. We appreciate all the hard work our valued agent partners do for us – they are key to the success of Ambition’s regional departure programme.”

At the docks a large marquee has been erected in a handling shed to oversee baggage and accommodate the passengers boarding the ship. Ambition will carry up to 1,200 passengers to give her a true sense of comfort and space in her 680 cabins, 125 of which have balconies and 113 are suites with up to 62m2 of living space.
