Witnesses are being sought following a collision near Delabole, which left a man in his twenties seriously injured.

The accident happened at around 6pm on Friday, September 1 and involved a Skoda car and VW Transporter.

The passenger in the Skoda was badly injured in the accident. The man from London was airlifted to hospital with potentially life threatening injuries.

The woman driver of the Skoda and the people in the VW Transporter were treated in hospital for minor injuries.

A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Officers, along with the ambulance and fire services, were called at around 6pm on Friday, September 1, following the collision involving a Skoda car and VW Transporter on the B3314, east of Delabole, Cornwall.

"As a result of the collision, the passenger of the Skoda, a man in his 20s from London, sustained what were described as potentially life-threatening injuries. He was airlifted to hospital.

"The female driver of the Skoda and the occupants of the VW sustained minor injuries and were taken to hospital for treatment.

"Local officers, as well as officers from the Alliance Roads Policing Team attended the location and completed an examination of the scene."
