MOTORISTS in Cornwall are being advised to avoid an area and warned disruption could last for several hours.
Devon and Cornwall Police have closed a section of road on the A3078 due to a road traffic collision and Cornwall Council has warned that no suitable diversion route is available.
The affected road is the A3078 at Tregony due to the incident between Trewarthenick and Freewater.
In an update tweeted just before 2pm, Cornwall Council said: "Police have closed the A3078 at Tregony due to an RTC between Trewarthenick and Freewater.
"There is no suitable diversion route, so please avoid the area if possible.
"Disruption is likely for several hours."
