A WOMAN from The Lizard has been sentenced for harassment after breaching a conditional discharge for criminal damage.

Pauline Wyatt, aged 55, of Mile End, The Lizard was originally given a 12-month conditional discharge for criminal damage in November 2022.

She was convicted of two charges of criminal damage at Mid Wales (Merthyr Tydfil) Magistrates' Court.

She was convicted of causing £345.60 pounds worth of damage to a vehicle in Pontypridd on July 15, 2022 belonging to a named man and damaging a dwelling window to the value of £210 belonging to the same man.

However she was arrested and charged with harassment without violence of the same man between December 13 and 27 at Helston.

She sent him numerous messages via Facebook Messenger, phone calls and voicemails, breaching the conditional discharge.

Magistrates at Truro Magistrates’ Court sentenced her for commission of further offence whilst subject to a conditional discharge.

She was resentenced and fined £80 for the original offence of damage to the vehicle. There was no separate penalty for the damage to the window.

There was also no separate penalty for the breach of the conditional discharge as that was dealt with by the resentencing for the original offence.
