AN event set to explore farming and biodiversity is taking place later this month.
Innovation for Agriculture is hosting 'Farm of the Future: Supporting Biodiversity' at Woodland Valley Farm near Truro.
The event, which will be on Tuesday, October 17, will include a farm walk led by Chris Jones who will talk about the benefits of providing an area of land to support biodiversity. It will run from 1pm until 5pm and include refreshments and pasties.
A spokesperson from Farm of the Future programmes said: "Chris Jones will share an example of how providing an area of land to support biodiversity can deliver public goods such as reduced flooding risk and improved water quality.
"We will also explore the opportunities available to farmers by increasing farm biodiversity and the role biodiversity plays in the farm of the future."
You must register for the event at Woodland Valley Farm, home of the Cornwall Beaver Project, www.eventbrite.co.uk/e/farm-of-the-future-supporting-biodiversity-tickets-713727637577
