ONE of Cornwall’s much-loved family attractions will host a special ‘Halloween quest’ during October half term.
Throughout half term week (October 18 – 29) Eden Project’s ‘Towering Tree Giants’ will take root during a week of Halloween fun at the Eden Project, St Austell.
There are three giant trees around the Eden site, with the tallest standing at eight metres tall. Each one of the trees is interactive and has its own enchanting story to discover.
Visitors will embark on a magical quest to uncover the Tree Giants’ hiding places, discover their ancient wisdom, hear tales and experience performances.
Tamsyn Lewis, Eden’s Live Events Producer said: “This time of the year at Eden, holds a special place in our hearts. We’re surrounded by beautiful, changing autumn colours and we transform the site into a magical site into a magical playground of nature discovery.
“This ‘Halloweden’ visitors can meet our mesmerising Three Giants and learn how we rely on forests for biodiversity, climate regulation, food, fuel, material, medicine and health and wellbeing.
“Families are invited to get up close to hear the secrets and learn how to become a forest guardian.”
Other activities taking place at the Eden Project during the October half term include drop-in craft sessions and a Wand Making workshop, complete with tales and guidance on crafting, a magical want to take home. Each session will take place in the ‘Tipi’ on the hour between 11am and 4pm, lasting 40 minutes each.
