The Cornish Vegan in Truro and The Three Pilchards in Polperro were named among the UK's best options for restaurants in Tripadvisor's 2023 Choice Awards.
The Travellers’ Choice Best of the Best awards are given to restaurants with a high volume of above-and-beyond reviews and opinions on the site over a 12-month period.
Tripadvisor added: "Each winner has passed our rigorous trust and safety standards. Fewer than 1% of Tripadvisor’s 8 million listings are awarded Best of the Best, signifying the highest level of excellence in travel.
"Congrats to all of the winners and a big thanks to the travellers who made it possible."
The Three Pilchards was among the top 10 in the 'Everyday Eats' category whilst The Cornish Vegan was among the top 10 in the 'Vegetarian' category.

One reviewer posted: "I'd read online prior to going that this pub had the best food so we were happy we were able to get a table and WOW! It didn't disappoint.
"The best fish pie I've ever tasted! My husband also had the steak & ale pie which was absolutely outstanding. Best food I've had in a long time!"

One person shared: "Delicious food , warm atmosphere and attentive hosts. We will definitaely come back again, its a gem!"
Another put: "I’m not a vegan. This food was absolutely amazing. The smell of the wild mushroom arancini caught me first.
"You must try it Firecracker “pork” with rice - better than you’d get with actual pork. The chef is an artist."
