A fire crew, police and South West Ambulance Service are all at the scene.
One person is known to have been taken into the care of ambulance staff to be checked over and for potential further treatment.
Killigrew Street is currently shut to other vehicles and drivers will need to find an alternative route.
All surrounding roads are looking congested currently.
The Packet has attempted to contact Devon and Cornwall Police for further details and updates will be added to this article when they are available.
