Two dynamic new singing clubs just for kids are being launched in Penryn in early November. Run by professional musician and composer Kayleigh Burton, the new choirs are set to receive high-quality musical training in a friendly, informal setting. There are no auditions; the only requirement is they love to sing!

“I’m really looking forward to getting the local kids singing. Children learn best when they’re having a great time, so I make sure we have a lot of fun alongside training to sing as a supportive team,” said Kayleigh

Young vocalists can expect to learn a wide range of music, such as hits from the musicals, pop tunes, songs from around the world and some of Kayleigh’s newest compositions. The repertoire is carefully chosen to ensure it captures the imagination, offers exciting challenges and promotes self-expression.

“Singing has been proven to provide countless benefits to mental, emotional and even physical health. In my previous choirs, I’ve witnessed incredible growths in children’s confidence just from an hour at choir every week. It’s also a huge part of our culture and traditions; we need to nurture that love of music in the younger generations.”
