Lifesaving charity Cornwall Air Ambulance says it is shocked after it had its shop in Camborne vandalised for the second time this year.

In a post on X, formerly known as Twitter, the charity posted pictures of glass at the front of the store in Trelowarren Street smashed.

In the post they say a large pane of the glass at the front of the store has been broken which will have a costly impact. They reckon it will cost the charity around £3,000 to repair the damage.

They say their seven shops in Cornwall are vital to raise funds for the service across the county and the Isles of Scilly.

The post says: “The Cornwall Air Ambulance shop in Camborne has very sadly been vandalised for the second time this year.

“We are shocked that a large pane of glass at the front of the store has been broken.

Cornwall Air Ambulance provides critical care to seriously sick and injured people across Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly.

Responding to over 1,000 missions annually, the charity has no direct government support towards running costs, and relies on the generosity of people to keep them flying 365 days a year.

Taking to the skies in 1987, Cornwall Air Ambulance was the very first air ambulance in the UK. We have since completed more than 32,000 missions, with that number increasing every day.
