TWO men were among a number of offenders sentenced to prison at courts in Devon and Cornwall last week. 

The offenders were among a number of defendants sentenced in courts in Cornwall between Monday, November 6, and Friday, November 10, 2023.

The first offender on this week's list is and from St Austell, who was sentenced at Truro Crown Court on Thursday, November 9, for dangerous driving, driving with no insurance and failing to provide a specimen.Falmouth Packet: Louis Roser, aged 31Louis Roser, aged 31 (Image: Devon and Cornwall)The offences took place on Wednesday, October 11, 2023, on Truro Road in St Austell where Roser was found to be driving dangerously and without third-party insurance. 

He also failed, when requested to do so by police, to provide a specimen for analysis. 

During his sentencing, Roser was handed down a sentence of 13 months in prison. 

The second offender on the list is Gabriel Ceausu, aged 25, from Camborne, who appeared at Truro Crown Court on Tuesday, November 7, for attempted robbery and possession of a bladed article.

Ceausu was also found to be in possession of a bladed article, without good reason or lawful authority, namely a knife. 

During his sentencing, Ceausu was handed down a sentence of six years in prison.
