UPDATE DECEMBER 18, 2023: Officers have located 15-year-old Leon Armstrong-Lee, who was reported missing from Newquay in November.

Police are becoming increasingly concerned about 15-year-old Leon Armstrong-Lee who has gone missing in Newquay.

Leon has been missing from the Newquay area since Thursday, November 16.

He is described as being white of medium build, 175cm tall (around 5ft 7") with shoulder length, dark brown hair which he usually wears in a ponytail.

When he went missing he was wearing a grey and black baseball cap, a black and white hoody, black tracksuit bottoms and grey Nike trainers. He was also carrying a black rucksack.

Police say they believe he may be staying with friends in St Agnes or Truro and asked for anyone with any information to get in touch.

An appeal issued by Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are trying to locate missing person, Leon Armstrong-Lee.

"Leon has been missing from the Newquay area since Thursday November 16, 2023. Leon is a 15-year-old white male, medium build, 175cm tall, with shoulder length, dark brown hair which he usually wears in a ponytail style.

"At the time of going missing, Leon was wearing a grey and black baseball cap, a black and white hoody, black tracksuit bottoms and grey Nike trainers.

Leon was also carrying a black rucksack. Police believe that Leon has been spending time with friends in St Agnes and Truro.

"Should you see Leon or have any information relating to his whereabouts, please contact the police immediately quoting log number: 0643 of November 16, 2023."
