LIGHTING up time got a whole new meaning at Falmouth Court Care Home as the community came together to see the home’s Christmas lights switched on this Christmas.

Staff and residents at Barchester’s Falmouth Court care home, in Falmouth, got in the Christmas spirit by inviting the community to come and join in with staff and residents who all gathered in the home’s lounge for the occasion.

Cornwall Councillor Jayne Kirkham joined to switch on the lights while everyone enjoyed a glass of prosecco to toast the start of the Christmas festivities.

There was stolen cake and chocolate treats all prepared by head chef, Jonathan Moyle for everyone to enjoy.  The Christmas tree looked amazing when Falmouth’s Councillor Jayne Kirkham, flicked the switch for the big reveal.

General Manager, Haley Reeve-Larson said: “We absolutely love Christmas here at Falmouth Court, it is such a special time and we all love decorating the home and having a lovely big tree which this year was kindly sponsored by William Highbourne Wealth Management.
