POLICE in Cornwall have warned the public not to approach a man wanted on recall to prison.
Matthew Adams, aged 43, is currently wanted on recall to prison for a previous burglary offence and enquiries are currently being made by police in order to locate him. He was last seen in the St Austell area.
Police have described Adams as being five foot eight inches and of slim build and are appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.
Anyone who sees Adams is asked not to approach him but to call police on 999, quoting reference number 50230307599.
A spokesperson for Devon and Cornwall Police said: "Police are seeking the public’s help to trace a 43-year-old man from Camborne.
"Matthew Adams is wanted on recall to prison for a previous burglary offence.
"Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.
"Adams is described as 5ft 8ins tall and of a slim build and was last seen in St Austell.
"Anyone who sees Adams is asked not to approach him but to call police on 999, quoting reference number 50230307599.
"Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org."
