Kerry Reeve of Marina View, Esperanza Court, Falmouth, pleaded guilty to assault by beating of an emergency worker when he appeared at Truro Magistrates’ Court just before Christmas.
Reeve admitted assaulting police sergeant Richard Kendall in Falmouth on Monday, December 4 this year.
He was given a rehabilitation order and fined £200 following his appearance in court on December 21. His guilty plea was taken into account.
He was also ordered to pay Costs to Crown Prosecution Service of £85 and a surcharge of £114.
On the same day but separately, Dylan Yeoman Hutchinson, aged 18, of Falmouth Road, Redruth was given a 12 month community order after admitting wound / inflict grievous bodily harm without intent when he appeared at Truro Magistrates’ Court on November 23 this year.
The charge followed an attack on Robert Lee in Commercial Street, Camborne on December 16 last year (2022).
Hutchinson was given a 12 month community order with an instruction to carry out 250 hours of unpaid work during that period and undergo ten hours of mental health treatment under We Are With.
He was also ordered to pay £1,000 in compensation as well as £85 Crown Prosecution Costs and a surcharge of £114.
