Police have thanked members of the public for their assistance to help find a man who is wanted on recall to prison. 

As reported in the Packet last week, the police were seeking the public's help to find Matthew Adams, 43 from Camborne. 

Enquiries were made by the police to locate him, and officers appealed to the public for information on his whereabouts.

At the time, a force spokesperson said: “Police are seeking the public’s help to trace a 43-year-old man from Camborne.

“Matthew Adams is wanted on recall to prison for a previous burglary offence.

“Enquiries have been made by police to locate him and officers are now appealing to the public for information on his whereabouts.

“Adams is described as 5ft 8ins tall and of a slim build. He has links to St Austell and Camborne.

“Anyone who sees Adams is asked not to approach him but to call police on 999, quoting reference number 50230307599.

“Information can also be passed anonymously to independent charity Crimestoppers by calling 0800 555 111, or via www.crimestoppers-uk.org.
