Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon has appointed a new managing director to start the New Year.

Andy Hill assumes the post after a stint as acting managing director.

He brings with him 25 years of industry experience, starting off as an apprentice at the age of 16 and culminating in senior roles across major house-building firms.

At Persimmon, Mr Hill will be in charge of overseeing operations across numerous live sites and leading new applications for high-quality homes.

The longstanding construction expert said: "I am delighted to be entrusted with this role at Persimmon’s Cornwall & West Devon business.

"Persimmon is rightly proud of its five-star HBF rating, and I will do all I can to ensure our sites are of the highest quality and that we leave a positive and lasting legacy."
