Persimmon Homes Cornwall & West Devon has appointed a new managing director to start the New Year.
Andy Hill assumes the post after a stint as acting managing director.
He brings with him 25 years of industry experience, starting off as an apprentice at the age of 16 and culminating in senior roles across major house-building firms.
At Persimmon, Mr Hill will be in charge of overseeing operations across numerous live sites and leading new applications for high-quality homes.
The longstanding construction expert said: "I am delighted to be entrusted with this role at Persimmon’s Cornwall & West Devon business.
"Persimmon is rightly proud of its five-star HBF rating, and I will do all I can to ensure our sites are of the highest quality and that we leave a positive and lasting legacy."
Liam Scott, Persimmon chairman for the South West said: "I am very pleased that Andy Hill has been promoted to managing director.
"His time in the role and wealth of experience within the house-building industry has been appreciated, making his permanent appointment an easy decision.
"I am confident that the Cornwall and West Devon region has a bright future ahead."
