A devastated mother who lost her daughter is appealing for help to find a precious piece of jewellery made from her ashes.

Tracey Cass from Truro says the Memorial Ashes Charm Bead fell off her O ring necklace back in October and she has been searching for it ever since.

“It means absolutely everything to me,” she told the Packet. “It’s the most precious thing I have ever owned. I wish I could offer a huge reward but I financially can’t afford to.”

Tracey’s daughter Rachael died in 2021 aged 31.

Tracey says she lost the charm back in October and truly believes it was either in The Range in Truro or in their car park.

Posting on Facebook she said: “As most of you are aware this is made out of my daughter’s ashes who passed away in 2021 so the sentimental value is priceless.

“I appreciate all the shares that this has already received but I’m sharing again as I am now “Offering a small reward for whoever finds it. If you found it and decided to keep it not realising what it was then I will.

“Hold no bad feeling, please pass it back and I will pay a small reward.”

Tracey told the Packet the memorial ashes charm bead is exactly the same as in the picture as the green resembles her birthstone.

“If someone has seen it and decided to keep it I hold no bad feeling at all, no questions would be asked,” she said.

Anyone with any information about the charm can contact Tracey through the Cornwall Lost and Found Facebook page.
