Two schools in Cornwall have maintained their Ofsted rating after an inspection.
Kehelland Village School in Camborne was given the rating of 'Good' in all areas following a recent visit on November 29 and 30, with the report published on January 19.
Overseen by headteacher Ellie Watkins and part of Truro and Penwith Academy Trust, the school serves local children from early years to Year 6.
Inspectors found pupils enjoy attending Kehelland Village School and describe the school as friendly and caring.
Their report reads: "Pupils understand the school’s motto and how this helps them to feel safe and happy at school."
The school has high expectations for all pupils with a strong emphasis on reading and mathematics.
But the report did highlight that additional focus needs to be put on curriculum subjects like music.
Archbishop Benson CofE Primary School, on Bodmin Road in Truro, also continued to be rated 'Good' after Ofsted inspectors' visits on October 3 and 4, and November 9, with their report published on January 25.
Led by headteacher Helen Giblett and a board of trustees headed by Mandy Hoare, the school serves a wider community of students presenting a diverse range of educational backgrounds and abilities.
Inspectors found "pupils are proud to attend Archbishop Benson CofE Primary School.
"They are polite and live up to the school’s values of respect, wisdom, creation, hope and fellowship."
The report also noted that the school acts strongly against bullying and has a vibrant culture of learning that extends beyond the classroom, although they highlighted that "in some subjects, the school has not identified the essential knowledge that pupils need to learn."
To improve even further, inspectors advised Archbishop Benson CofE Primary School to increase its contact with parents, reporting: "Some parents raised concerns that the school does not communicate with them well enough. As a result, some parents do not understand changes and improvements in the school."
Both schools were praised for their awareness and treatment of pupils with special educational needs and/or disabilities (SEND), with staff at each school having knowledge of students' needs and adapting resources accordingly.
Both schools also place importance on pupils' personal development through various activities and pupil roles.
