Over the past two years, Falmouth Court, part of the Barchester family, has specialised in providing care in a friendly environment.

The home regularly hosts events for residents and the community alike, and has become a key employer in the area, with more than 50 staff members, most native to Falmouth.

Since it opened its doors on January 24 2022, the care home has welcomed almost 170 residents for both respite and longer-term care, with several now being permanent residents.

Julie Jones, regional director, expressed her appreciation for the hard work of the staff.

She said:  “It is important to recognise the hard work of our staff here at Falmouth Court.

"In the two years, we have turned a building into a wonderful caring home for our residents to live in and for our staff to work in.

"Today not only enables us to celebrate their hard work, but it's also an opportunity to thank the residents, their relatives and friends who have and continue to support us to make Falmouth Court such a loving home.”

Falmouth Court is run by Barchester Healthcare, one of the largest care providers in the UK, and is dedicated to providing personalised care to its 66 residents.

It offers both residential and specialist dementia care and has a variety of service arrangements from short-term respite stays to long-term care options.
