A three-vehicle collision on the main Helston to Penzance road has left one man injured this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the A394 at Rosudgeon today (Monday) to reports of a crash involving multiple vehicles.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers received a call at 2.50pm about the crash, which is understood to have occurred near to the Co-op store in the village.

It involved a van and two cars. A man from one of the vehicles was taken by ambulance for further treatment to injuries he sustained in the collision, although the extent of the injuries is not currently known.

A force spokesperson said: “This is a three-vehicle collision on the A394 at Rosudgeon, reported to us at 2.50pm today, February .

"Two cars and a van were involved. One man is believed to have sustained injuries and an ambulance has been called."

Heavy traffic was previously reported by traffic monitoring system INRIX, in the area near to Packet Lane.

The road has since been cleared.
