A member of one of the UK's biggest boybands will discuss his life and career with an audience at Central Methodist Church later this month.

On February 24. 2024 JB Gill from boyband JLS will talk about his life, his career, and the importance of his faith to members of the public at the church on Coinagehall Street, Helston.

JB first rose to fame after the band appeared on the popular singing talent show, The X Factor. When JLS reformed in 2020, the band welcomed a sell-out UK tour, as well as releasing a new single and album.

Six years ago, JB set up a farm in the Kent countryside where he lives with his wife Chloe, four-year-old son Ace, and nine-month-old daughter Chiara. The couple are also owners of a successful smallholding business which has seen their produce awarded.

In 2016, JB became the first ambassador for the Mayor’s Fund for London, an independent, social mobility charity, linked to the mayoral office, seeking to empower young Londoners from all walks of life in their journey onto London’s career ladder.
