It was a fantastical day across Cornwall today as thousands of children (and some adventurous adults!) transformed into their favourite book characters for World Book Day.
The Packet has received many photos from parents and carers of their happy children in costume. From Postman Pat to Harry Potter, Willy Wonka to Marvel characters – it has been a day full of excitement for everyone.
Schools and nurseries across the Duchy went all out, creating a day packed with literary fun and wonder. It has been a celebration of all things stories, inspiring a love of reading that will stay with these children and adults for years to come.
So from us at the Packet, a big thank you for sending in your pictures and we hope you all have had a wonderful and inspiring World Book Day.
