"What a day! It’s rained and rained and as a result the Music Water Road has flooded to a level we haven’t seen in years.

"The flood water completely covered the road and soon passing cars became stuck! Luckily for everyone Ray our lovely plumber by day and fireman by night came to the rescue!

"Well Done to Padstow fire brigade for braving the truly terrible weather. Unfortunately all the roads in the local area from Padstow to the Wadebridge and St Columb by-pass have now had to be closed due to severe flooding. Fingers crossed tomorrow will be dryer!"

Missy Moo & Crew posted that they'd popped out to pick up some feed for their horse when the the heavens "well and truly opened".

"Some of the lanes were quite flooded, we almost conked out in one, a slight misjudgment of depth as water from the bow wave was over my bonnet, just a broken number plate thankfully - Golfs aren't made for that!"

When they got back they said they had to go and rescue their horses. She said the lane to her house and "turned into a river".
