The complete Chef's Theatre line-up for this year's Porthleven Food Festival has been unveiled.

The annual free three-day celebration, scheduled from April 26 to 28. boasts an impressive assortment of culinary talent.

This year's line-up includes Michelin-starred chefs and Great British Menu winners.

Adam Handling of Adam Handling Restaurant Group, Tom Brown of Cornerstone Restaurant and The Pearly Queen, Paul Foster of Salt Restaurant, and Ben Palmer, winner of the Great British Menu 2024, from The Sardine Factory restaurant in Looe, will all make appearances.

Additionally, Jack Stein is one of the exciting new additions to the festival bill.

Other noted culinary figures such as Chris Eden, executive chef at Gidleigh Park, and Josh Eggleton of The Pony Restaurant Group will also be participating.

The festival's chef patron, Jude Kereama said: "The 2024 festival line-up is set to be our best yet!

"We're thrilled to bring such a talented mix of Michelin star and leading chefs from across the country, to demo for us all here in Porthleven.

"It's going to be a brilliant weekend of celebrations and there is heaps in store from live music, to masterclasses, feast nights and family-friendly entertainment plus lots more.

Falmouth Packet: Jude Kereama, owner of Kota and Kota Kai, has gathered the chefs together for this year’s Porthleven Food Festival

Mr Kereama, a native New Zealander and acclaimed chef, has represented the South West in four seasons of the Great British Menu.

His successful establishments include Kota and Kota Kai restaurants.

He often draws his cooking inspiration from the local Cornish ingredients and his Māori Chinese-Malay heritage.

The award-winning community event attracts approximately 35,000 food enthusiasts yearly and is known for its high-level culinary talent.

It offers an opportunity to celebrate Cornwall’s leading food and drink producers while stimulating the local economy and promoting sustainable food production and environmental awareness.

This year, the festival introduces the Ultimate Gourmet Weekend Tickets, offering all-weekend access to the Chef’s Theatre, premium parking, and a two-course roast lunch prepared by Chef Rupert Cooper of the Philleigh Way Cookery School.
