Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a man in his thirties died following a collision near St Colomb Minor, Newquay.
Officers were called to the Castle An Dinas Road near Quoit at around 4pm on Friday, April 5 where it was reported that a collision had occurred involving a silver Toyota Corolla and a Black Mercedes GLC.
The local male driver of the Toyota, aged in his 30s, was pronounced dead at scene. His next of kin have been informed.
Four people who were travelling in the Mercedes were treated for non-life-threatening injuries in hospital.
An investigation was carried out at the scene. Officers from the Roads Policing Team would like to thank the public for their patience whilst this took place.
